Sinamay Hat Blocking with Beaded Flower
In this class you will learn to make a cocktail hat with hat blocking technique. This one-day workshop allows you to understand how traditional blocking is done on wooden hat blocks with Sinamay material, Haute couture millinery and French beading techniques.
At the end of the class, you will take away a cocktail hat of your own creation!
Date and Time: 16 March 2017 (Thursday), 10pm-5pm (6 hrs with 1 hr lunch break)
Cost: $290 (all material included) for 1 pax, 10% discount for 2 pax, 15% for 3 pax and above.

The Instructor: Kristine Hakim, Milliner
Her fashion experience includes working with a french haute couture designer, Dominique Sirop, Esther Perbandt in Berlin, textile and style curator, Jennifer Shorto, and Studio Bercot as the textile application lecturer in Paris.
In 2012, She started Eskpade, and the following year, opened the first Millinery boutique in Mandarin Gallery, Orchard road where she has been creating hundreds of hats, headpieces and embroidered accessories.
